Given that the gas constant for air is 287 J/ kgK, calculate the mass of air contained in the vessel and the specific volume.(5.135kg,0.292m/kg) 2.6. The Characteristic Gas Constant for the gas is R- 300 J/ kgK. A cylindrical tank 0.8 m diameter and 2 m long, stores gas at an absolute pressure of 5.6 MN/m2 and a temperature of 19 °C. When some of the gas is removed, the absolute pressure falls to 4.2 MN/m2 and the final temperature to 5 oC 2.7. If R for the gas is 346 J/ kg K, calculate the mass of gas removed, and the density and specific volume of the gas remaining in the tank. (13.35kg 42.15kg/m3,0.0237m3/kg)
