6A natural gas fired steam power plant, shown schematically in Fig. Q6, operates on a simple ideal Rankine cycle between the pressure limits of 40bar and 0.65 bar. The temperature of the steam at the turbine inlet is 600 °C and the steam leaves the turbine with a dryness fraction, x of 0.9. The mass flow rate of the steam is 20 kg/s Show the cycle on a T-s diagram with respect to saturation lines.
