Assume that the basement floor slab has a self-weight of 7.00 kPa (unfactored) and has no additional flooring Assume the roof is constructed with asphalt strip shingles. Use live load reduction factors where appropriate Assume that the minimum specified uniformly distributed loads given in NBCC Table 4.1.5.3 can be used to determine live loads. For this question, neglect point loads from live loads.
