A test on single cylinder, 4-strok oil engine, having bore 18cm and strok 30 cm, yielded the followin result :

speed=600 rpm torque=300 n/m imep=700 kpa air consumption = 2kg/min

cooling water consumption=835kg/min with cooling temprutre rise of 30 c.

air fuel ratio=25 exhust temprutre=480 c

if the having value of fuel is 43000 kj/kg, and the atmospheric condition are 100 kpa and 25 c take specific heats of exhaust gas to be 718 k/kg.k and of water is 4200 j/kg.k
