QUESTION 3: A pipe system is designed to channel water from a higher elevation reservoir to a lower elevation reservoir as illustrated in Figure Q3. If water with viscosity of 1.12 x 103 Ns/m2 and density of 1000 kg/m3 flows at the rate of 0.03 m3ls from the upper level designated as A to the lower level designated as B, solve: i) the average velocities in the pipes, ii) the major head loss for the pipe system, ii) the minor head loss for the pipe system, iv) the total hea d loss for the pipe system, and v) the vertical distance between the free surface of the reservoirs.
