FRENCH

Task 2 – 10 Marks This task requires you to write in French. The thing to remember is not to try to translate directly from English or you will, no doubt, decide that you have no idea what to say. Everything that you are asked to say, you have encountered already. You can find it all in Unit 5 – mainly in the info langue sections, if you need to revise. You will have also covered them extensively in the exercises and activities – which is why it is important to do them all. There are many examples in the dialogues too. This assignment task will also help you to remember the vocabulary and expressions. Complete the following dialogue in French: Boulangère: Bonjour, qu’est-ce que je vous sers ? You: ____________________________________________________________________ Hello. I would like four apple tarts, please. B: Desolé, mais je n’en ai plus. You: ____________________________________________________________________ Do you have any chocolate eclairs? B: Oui, j’en ai beaucoup. You: ____________________________________________________________________ I‘ll take four then. B: Voilà ça sera tout? B: Deux euros You: _____________________________________________________________________ I would like one, please. How much do I owe? B: Ça fait trois euros cinquante, s’il vous plaît.
