Could you please help me with this question. Use of Cumulative Standard Normal Distribution Table necessary. Thank you. 

 

 

The distance, in kilometers, travelled to work by the employees of a city council is approximately normally distributed with a mean of 7.5 km and a standard deviation of 2.5 km.

 

 

 

a)    What is the probability that an employee travels more than 11 km to work?

 

Let X = amount of kms travelled by the employees (in kms)

 

 

b)     Find the distance such that 10% of the council employee’s travel less than to get to work

 

 

c)         Find the probability that the mean distance travelled to work by a random sample of 4 of the council’s employees is less than 5 km.
