Jeannie listens to her co-workers complain about their boss and his unfair treatment. Jeannie thinks she is being supportive by listening, but she is getting sick of all the negativity. She decides to do a mini experiment to see if ignoring them will help. For one week, she counts how many times they complain during that week. Then she decides to ignore her friend Darcy, while still listening to Danica. She finds that Darcy’s complaints decrease, but Danica’s complaints don’t decrease. She then ignores both of their complaints.
