Problem 3 (10 points) - The 40 ft long two-span indeterminate continuous beam shown below is supported by a pin at A, and rollers at B and C. Create complete shear (V) and moment (M) diagrams for the following two loading conditions: (a) a 7.5 klft uniformly distributed load over the entire 40 ft member length, and (b) a 7.5 kift uniformly distributed load over only the first 20 ft between Pin A and Roller B (with no load at all between Rollers B and C). Determine which loading condition causes the maximum (absolute value) shear (Vmax) in the beam, which loading condition causes the maximum positive moment (+Mmax) in the beam, and which loading condition causes the maximum negative moment (-Mmax) in the beam.
