The series RLC circuit in Fig. 7.1 is driven by a pulsed signal. Rs represents the internal resistance of the driver. Derive the value of undamped natural frequency, ω°, for this circuit. C. Estimate the value of R for critical damping. D. Each value should have at least 200 Ω difference with critical R capacitor, when vs(t) switches from low to high and high to low for each of the i. critically damped, ii. overdamped, and ii. underdamped cases, assuming a long time between consecutive switching events. F. Use your answers above to derive a time-dependent expression for i(t) across a full period of the input pulse for each of the i. critically damped, ii. overdamped, and underdamped cases.
