Two identical small spheres of mass 0.001kg are suspended at a common point by two 5 cmcm long threads and are placed above an infinite uniform sheet of positive charge with surface charge density of 2.5nC/m2. Each small ball has the same amount of positive charge q. At equilibrium, the angle between the two threads is 2θwhere θ=5∘, and the distance between the sphere and the sheet of charge is d=25cm. Find the value of q.
