Ben spotted a small whale - much smaller than the others stranded on the sand. He knelt down beside the little whale, and gently poured a bucket of seawater over the creature's back. "Come on," he coaxed. "We'll get you back in the water soon." In 2006, off the coast of Busselton, Western Australia, a world-first rescue attempt was made to save 100 beached whales. Locals worked with conservation officers to return all but one whale to the ocean. This is the story of one little whale, and the boy who risked his own life to save him.
