This supplement to Basics of Construction and Framing provides additional information covering core units for students undertaking the Certificate II in Construction or the Certificate III in Carpentry in the CPC08 training package. This includes the use of restricted height scaffolding and explosive power tools, the basics of excavation and concreting to simple forms.
Basics of Construction and Framing is the first volume in the McGraw-Hill construction series. Based upon the solid knowledge content in the well-respected Practical Australian Carpentry by Barrington, Mylius and Arden, this text provides updates about new materials, methods and sustainability considerations in building and construction. The content is referenced to the Building Code of Australia practices and regulations.
The textbook is complemented by Connect, McGraw-Hill’s unique digital learning and assessment platform, making this the ideal blended learning resource.
