This project is a revision of the Cleveland Clinic board review text - a didactic approach to board prep. Originally signed when we lost Mayo's cardio board review book, 2e will improve with an electronic component. The editors intend to reduce some text-heavy portions into more readable bulleted format. We will move to 4/c (readers believe it adds value) and use color to highlight key points/critical issues surrounding guidelines. We will include an online cases component - CCF Fellows will submit clinical cases and create at least 3 questions for each case. Some of these cases will be 'added value' for the textbook. (We plan to create a separate clin cardio casebook review.) The editors will use the web to offer difficult topics, such as hemodynamics in a live-action approach.
