Recalled are the symbolic crowning of a sheep at a beauty pagent protest in the 1960s at which bras were certainly binned but never burned; analysis as to the significance of the loss of Simone de Beauvoir in 1986; and in 1990, a look at the massacre of 14 female engineering students in Montreal.
